Cyprus in Winter 2017 – Road Trip VLOG Part 4: Troodos Mountains

Follow me on my one-week road trip across the island of CYPRUS in February 2017 – visiting Larnaca, Cape Greko, Ayia Napa, Nissi Beach, Nicosia (Lefkosia/Lefkoşa), Troodos Mountains, Paphos, Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite’s Rock), Kourion, Limassol and Governor’s Beach.

Troodos Mountains are located in the center of the island of Cyprus. The highest peak is snow-covered Mount Olympus (also spelled Mount Olympos) at 1,952 meters above sea level. There are various Byzantine churches and monasteries in the region, including the most well-known Kykkos Monastery. Troodos Mountains are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and definitely worth visiting.

In this fourth part of my Cyprus Road Trip VLOG series, join me as I discover Mount Olympus, the High Cross and the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross above Pedoulas village, Kykkos Monastery and the beautiful Cedar Valley. The drive through Cedar Valley was one of the most breathtaking road trips I have ever done and the video footage doesn’t do this epic part of the island any justice.
